Author's Note: Because I'm already going to hell, why not weave myself a pretty little basket as well? I know I've got some requests standing too I'll work on those probably this weekend. & Look at the end note.
He tapped his fingers against the wood of the table as he waited for the okay to leave the set. He had already been in this small bookstore for most of the morning and all he wanted to do was just get out and have some air. Thunder clapped against the sky and he turned his head quickly and saw that there was a down pour happening. Sighing he rested his head on his hand, well maybe he could stay in here and do a few more takes until this part of the storm passed. Grabbing a bottle of water he let his gaze wander, he was starting to get extremely bored of all of this.
“Mr. Pattinson?” A young girl with a clipboard and a hurried look came over to him. When he met her gaze she blushed and he gritted his teeth before nodding and smiling back at her. “We're done with you for now, so if you want to head back to your trailer.”
“Thank you,” He said quickly getting up from the table, he was aware that it was an extremely rude thing to do just to get up while she was still talking but he had to get out of there.
As he reached the entrance to the store his usual horde of bodyguards quickly joined him, pushing the door open. Suddenly he heard the screams that he had learned to fear. Ever since he had begun working on Twilight they had followed him every where, he tried his best to get used to it but it just kept getting worse and there didn't seem to be an end in sight. He looked up at the clouds and the rain didn't look like it was going to be letting up anytime soon. Looking down the streets he saw the girls and at the same moment so did his security team. He tried to dart out to his trailer before they caught him.
The rain was too thick and he didn't see the taxi coming, even though it was the brightest yellow made, he felt it before he saw it. A sharp pain shot up through his hip as he fell backward onto the wet cement. Blinking his eyes he looking up into the rain and laid there. He could hear the screams from the fangirls and apart of him wanted to smile, they had finally drove him to this. One of his security walked up to him but he quickly got up on his own before they could touch him. He waved them off and kept walking. His hip twinged with every movement but he still had to get away from the screaming girls, who seemed to be getting worse now that he was walking.
“You see what you did?” He heard one of his team members scream over the pouring rain. He couldn't help but laugh at that. Maybe next time they really could have something to blame on them. Grabbing his trailer door he flung it open and shut it quickly behind him.
End Note: I'm well aware that the actual 'hitting' of him by the taxi was much more tamed but that's what we call 'historical fiction' I have certain artistic liberties. ♥
