igrayne she wanted Rose/Doctor and Timebaby :D
Rose looked in the mirror of her room in the TARDIS. She had been back for a couple of months and it was already her home once again. When the Doctor asked her to come along she couldn’t say no, she had spent so much time getting over him, trying to forget the time she had originally on the ship. But the love that she had for the Doctor was nothing she could get over. In a matter of days it felt like the old times. All the troubles that had occurred with the Daleks, Donna and Jack coming back again, was forgotten after a few days in space.
It was when they had finally visited Barcelona , after a three year promise, did they resume their relationship. It was awkward at first, Rose hadn’t had anyone since the Doctor, and it was obvious he hadn’t had anyone since her. After that night everything had gotten back to normal for Rose, as normal as it could be. It was a few months later that everything had changed for her once again.
Rose realized that she was late really late, and she was petrified. She loved the Doctor dearly but knew the life they lead would not be the best place to raise a child. What worried her the most was she didn’t know if the baby would be a Time Lord or Human. The Doctor never told her tails of Gallifrey , and how the childhoods would go. Or even if there was such thing is part Time Lord part Human. She recalled the night she told the Doctor about the possibility. They were sitting quietly in her room on the TARDIS just talking, their fingers laced together recalling old times and predicting where their beloved ship would take them now.
“Doctor, there is something I have to tell you,” Rose said carefully.
“Anything,” He smiled his cheeky smile expecting it to be something simple, like she drank all the milk in the fridge and they had to stop by Earth to pick up some more. “We don’t need more milk do we?”
“What?” She asked looking at him confused “No--no that’s not it. It’s something more important.”
“I’m listening,” The Doctor said slowly as he gripped her other hand tightly reassuring her.
“Since we started--our relationship again, I hadn’t planned on this happening,” She started slowly.
“You want to return home don’t you? You got over me and you want to go back to the life you had?” He asked hanging his head.
“No Doctor please,” Rose said laughing quietly, he was making this easier yet harder for her “I’m late.”
“Late--what do you mean,” He asked slowly and looked at Rose carefully then he understood “Oh, so are you?”
“It’s hard to tell,” Rose said biting her lip “Is there any place that we could go? To find out?”
“I’ll set the cords right away,” The Doctor said kissing her forehead before climbing off her bed.
“Doctor, you’re not angry are you?” Rose asked slowly avoiding his gaze.
The Doctor walked back to the bed, he ran his fingers through her hair as he smiled at her. She raised her head as a few tears left her eyes.
“This is the best news I could hear,” He smiled brightly at her again before he left her room quickly.
Rose was stirred from her thoughts as she saw the Doctor reflected in her mirror. He leaned casually against the door frame, he was dressed simply in his suit shirt and pants, his tie was loose around the collar as he smiled at Rose. He slowly walked up to her and wrapped his arms around her waist. They met on her growing stomach. He kissed her cheek lightly as he rubbed her stomach.
“So this is really going to happen isn’t it?” Rose asked carefully. It was to late now to do anything, she was over five months along. But sometimes she thought the Doctor wouldn’t want this. He had been a father before, she wasn’t sure he would want to go through his hearts breaking if they lost the baby.
“It is,” He said rocking her slowly “I’ve already picked out the perfect planet to have the baby. It’s basically a birthing planet.”
“It’s not natural is it?” Rose shivered, she remembered Jackie’s stories of giving birth to Rose naturally and how much it hurt.
“No,” He laughed quietly “There will be helpers, don’t worry. I’ve done the research it’s perfect and relaxing. We can spend as long as you like there.
It’s the ideal place to raise a baby.”
“What about the TARDIS?” She asked slowly.
“Already building the nursery,” He said kissing her again.
“Where are we heading?” Rose asked turning around in his arms. She felt so
away from him as her stomach pushed her away from him.
“Earth,” The Doctor kissed her nose.
“Why?”
“We’re out of milk.”
