Author's Note: This story started out as a drabble for Alli. But I got a cute idea for it, so I'm writing a story little chapter story.
Author's Note II: I'm not pleased with this chapter. I hate that I'm not able to think of anything to Alli and Alex, but I'll figure something out. If not, I'll end the story :(
Alex stretched as he yawned. The sun rays came through the closed shades of Alli’s bed room causing him to stir. He groaned as he pulled Alli toward him, the night to him went by way to quickly. He loved having Alli in his arms. For the last two nights he had slept over in her apartment. He didn’t even seen his apartment save to get clean clothing. Rubbing his eyes he looked over Alli’s shoulder at the alarm clock. It was only nine o’clock. Sighing he rested his head back on the pillow.
Closing his eyes he ran his hand slowly down his face. The last few days had been hectic. Alli and he lost contact with three of their best friends after the night at the night club. Alli was starting to get worried about them. Meagan and AJ were on the verge of breaking up and Joe was extremely depressed now that everyone knew he and Meagan had an affair.
Alex went as far as to go to Joe’s apartment to get him to come out but he refused. Alli went to Meagan and AJ’s apartment the same day but they refused to come out. They were happy about the fact that Meagan and AJ were still living in the same place.
“Alex,” Alli said slowly as she shook his chest stirring him from his thoughts.
“Oh sorry,” He smiled down at her “I was just thinking.”
“I saw,” She said quietly resting her head on his chest. “Let’s just give up on them now we’ll see them tomorrow for that Indy show. We can sit them down and make them talk it out.”
“I doubt AJ would like that,” Alex sighed. “I think Joe isn’t his friend anymore.”
“He’s just being stubborn he broke up with her, she went to Joe for comfort and
someone happened,” Alli sighed “I don’t blame her.”
“Would you do the same?” Alex asked quickly.
“What?”
“If we broke up suddenly would you run to someone and sleep with them for comfort,” He
said slowly.
“Well, Joe isn’t my type and Meagan would kill me if I slept with AJ,” Alli laughed
waving it off.
“You didn’t answer my question,” He said looking down at her.
“No,” She said quietly shaking her head. “I wouldn’t. I don’t know why she did. I knew
that Joe and Meagan always had this odd bond but I don’t get why she did it.”
“In a moment of weakness you can’t control your actions,” Alex sighed “You want some breakfast?”
“You’ve made me breakfast the last couple of mornings,” Alli smiled sitting up. “Let
me make you something.”
“What can you make?” Alex smiled up at her.
“Toast, eggos, and cereal,” She smiled.
“Eggos and cereal it is!” Alex smiled as Alli climbed over him as she got over the
bed.
Alex smiled as he watched Alli move about her room slipping on some pants and throwing a bathrobe over her nightshirt. He was glad they were taking this slow, he felt something about her he had never felt about anyone before. It scared him in a way, but he didn’t care, he wanted to see where it would go. She flipped her hair out of the bathrobe as she quickly tied it up. Biting her lip she turned around to him.
“I’m really glad you’re here,” She said smiling as he sat up running his hand through
his hair making it messier.
“I’m glad I’m here too,” He smiled as she sat down as he cupped her face in his
hands. “I’m also glad we’re taking this slowly. I think we have a chance.”
“I think we have one too,” She said blushing “But for right now, I think we should live in different apartments.”
“I know what you mean,” He smiled tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. “I think after the iMPACT taping I’ll go back to my apartment.”
“Sounds like a good idea,” She said kissing him lightly. “But right now we need some breakfast. Go take a shower.”
“Okay babe,” He said kissing her quickly before she ran from the room.
As Alli busied herself in her small kitchen, Alex took a quick shower. As he was drying off his hair his phone rang. He heard it but he couldn’t find the phone. He found it in a pair of pants on the floor and answered it right before it went off to voice mail.
“Hello?”
“Alex, he’s gone!”
“Meagan?”
“AJ, he left! I don’t know where he went! He—we were talking—and he just got up and
left,” She said frantically.
“He probably just went out for fresh air!” Alex said quickly.
“Alex, breakfast is ready,” Alli said smiling as she walked into the room.
“Meagan calm down,” Alex said slowly as Alli frowned at Alex. “I’ll call him just clam
down and we’ll find him. He just went out for air.”
“I hope so,” She said slowly “Sorry about this call.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Alex said quietly “I’ll try to get in touch with him. Bye?”
Alex frowned closing the phone as he turned around to see Alli glaring at him.
“Why do we have to be dragged into their little triangle?” She said fuming “I’m tired of it, why do they come to us? Why can’t they let us sold our own problems?”
“Where did this come from?” Alex asked quickly.
“Pent up aggression,” She said quietly scowling.

Date: 2007-02-19 04:29 am (UTC)I'm sorry your frusterated with this. I know how you feel, but mine is more I want to get BACK to my stories because I KNOW where they should go. Maybe just stepping back and seeing if things COME to you? I don't know, but I sure liked it :)
