Chapter #: (1/1)
WIP or Complete: Complete
Author's Note: I'm at the beach for New Years and I haven't really been in the mood to write since the car ride here. But While I was walking on the beach I got this really cute idea for a story. It was going to be AJ Styles, but I cahnged it to Samoa Joe at the last minute. Enjoy!
Joe smiled as his bare feet touched the wet sand of the beach. Taking a deep breath he closed his eyes as he let the smell of the salt wash over him. It was winter and a small breeze but he didn’t care. Pulling his hoody closer and putting the hood up he felt warmer. Stepping back a few paces he took a seat on the dry sand that the morning waves didn’t hit.
“Hey Babe,” She whispered into his ear as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “You left without me.”
“I’m sorry,” He smirked peaking around his hood “I was craving to feel the sand between my toes.”
“You’re such a child,” She sighed as she took a seat next to him.
He wrapped his arm around her shoulder as he pulled her closer. She rested her head on his shoulder as she breathed in the sea air. They had been gone from their house so long that they longed to be near the beach again. Luckily their vacation took them to a small beach where both of them were content to be.
“Haley,” Joe whispered in her ear. “Let’s go for a walk.”
Joe smirked as he stood up without helping her up he picked her up effortlessly and threw her over his shoulder. She playfully pounded his back as he twisted her around in the air.
“Joe put me down,” She laughed as he finally stopped. Swinging her forward she landed in his arms.
“But I like holding you,” Joe frowned as she wrapped her arms around his neck. “Also I’ve always walked to do this.” Joe smirked as he started to run toward the freezing ocean. Haley screamed at the top of her lungs earning them stares from the other couples walking along the beach.
“Joe don’t!” She screamed as he mad ready to toss her into the frigid water, closing her eyes she felt like she was about to be thrown when Joe caught her around and put her over his shoulder again. “I hate
you,” She grumbled as he slapped her butt lightly.
“Don’t lie,” He said placing her down in front of him.
“You deserve it,” She said glaring at him. “You tried to throw me into the winter ocean!”
“Tried being the key word,” He smiled as his eyes flashing with mischievousness as he tapped her nose
lightly with his finger.
“If I was stronger I would push you into the water,” She said smirking at him.
“If I was smarter--” Joe said stopping. “Oh wait I’m not getting myself into that bind.”
“Good boy,” She said wrapping her arms around his neck. “I wish the baby could be out here with us,” Haley smiled as she looked back at their hotel room. “At least Chris was able to watch her, I felt bad leaving her with him.”
“Oh he was happy to do it,” Joe smiled as she picked her up again as she wrapped her legs around his waist. “We finally get some alone time.”
“That is always a good thing,” She smiled kissing him lightly.
Sequel? Series? Maybe :P
