kelkey because we agreed to write Robert stories for each other. I never thought I'd finish this before yours but hey, atleast I got it done I didn't think I would. I hope this makes up for the fact that your story is like 2 chapters longer.
“Come on you guys! You move slower than tar,” Katie yelled banging on the door.
“Yeah come on!” Daniel added from Katie’s bed.
“Chill you two,” Robert said flinging open the door and startling Katie.
“Jeez Robert warn someone next time will you,” Katie said grabbing her chest and walked over to were
Daniel was sitting.
“Sorry mate,” Robert grinned shutting the door. Kate pointed to the door opening and closing her
mouth. “Kelly’s taking a shower.”
Katie glared and folded her arms. Daniel wrapped an arm around her waist “Sorry Love, told you it would be a while before we were going out.”
“I woke you two up two hours ago,” Katie sighed.
“Well we got sidetracked,” Robert said blushing.
“Side tracked my ass,” Daniel said.
“Daniel,” Katie said playfully.
“What?” Daniel asked back, kissing her neck.
“Eww please guys save it for later,” Robert said taking a seat on the nearest chair.
“We had to hear you,” Daniel said glaring at him.
“What?” Robert said looking at them so quickly he hurt his neck.
“We heard you mate,” Daniel laughed.
“You-you did?” Robert said rubbing his neck.
“Yes,” Katie blushed. “It was very hard to…block out.”
“Woah I’m sorry you guys,” Robert said as his face turned a deep red.
Katie and Daniel laughed as Robert looked away from them. They waited for Kelly for almost an
hour. During that time they mostly watched what ever came on the television. Katie was half asleep by the time Kelly opened the door that joined their rooms. She walked in as the program they were watching was over. Daniel nudged Katie as Kelly stood over a sleeping Robert.
“It’s a about ruddy time,” Katie said angrily. “Three hours Daniel and I have had to wait.”
“Woah,” Kelly said holding up her hands in defense, “it wasn’t my fault.”
“I can blame either one of you,” Daniel said standing up and stretching. “You might want to wake your
boyfriend up. If not we’ll be here forever.”
“Robert,” Kelly said bending down and kissing him on the lips. “Time to get up.”
“Mmm,” Robert said opening his eyes and smiled.
“I think our friends finally want to do something,” Kelly smiled rubbing her hands through his hair.
“Well we did want to go to a park or something,” Daniel said looking out the window. It had started to rain, and was getting breezy.
“But our plan was foiled,” Katie said “So it looks like dinner,”
“Where do you guys want to go?” Robert asked standing up and placing an arm around Kelly’s shoulders.
“I’m not sure,” Daniel said mimicking Robert and placed his arm around Katie’s waist “I don’t think
anything fancy we’re not dressed for it. How about just a nice sit down?”
“Sounds okay to me,” Kelly said smiling.
“All right them let’s get going,” Katie said grabbing her purse off the TV stand. Katie went back to her room to grab hers. In ten minutes time both couples were outside the hotel standing underneath the door covering waiting for a taxi to appear.
Once the doorman had finally managed to flag one down, both couples squeezed into the back of the small taxi. As Daniel told the driver where to go, the couples got silent. It was uncomfortable and they thought if they talked that it would make it even worse and more claustrophobic. Five minutes and eight cramped legs later the taxi pulled in front of a small pub. Everyone chipped in for the fare, paying their share before they exited the cab.
Running to the door to evade the rain a man leaving the pub held the door open for them. They all thanked him as they shook off the rain that fell on them. The girl’s grabbed their boyfriend’s hands as they walked around looking for a table. One was open in the back of the pub, they took a seat as a waitress came and took their orders for drinks.
“So how long do you guys have left here?” Daniel asked taking a sip out of his red wine.
“Twelve days,” Katie grinned grabbing Daniel’s hand as it lay on the table.
“Woah we’re really going to have to paint the town red aren’t we?” Kelly asked smirking at Robert. He gave her a quick kiss on the lips and Daniel and Katie made disgusted faces.
“I had to watch you two snog,” Robert said glaring at Daniel.
“Don’t make me mention it again,” Daniel smirked.
“Fine,” Robert gave up and started playing with his straw in his cup.
“Mention what?” Kelly asked looking around at her friends’ strangely.
“You, you don’t want to know,” Robert said nervously.
Daniel and Katie grinned at each other and Kelly was still trying to figure out what was going on. Before anyone could catch her up on the joke the waitress came and took their food orders. After ordering their food Kelly tried to get them to say what was going on, but everyone was consumed by laughter. Kelly folded her arms and scowled. Robert placed an arm around her shoulder and kissed her lightly on the cheek.
The rest of the night went by quickly for everyone. After they ate their food they decided that they would go out to a club for the night. The agreed to go to the club they went to the other night. They couldn’t pass up the chance to make even better memories there, then the one’s they made the other night.
This time both couples left the club at closing time. And instead of heading back to the hotel, Robert and Daniel took them back to Robert’s apartment, where they stayed up the rest of the night talking and watching movies. They didn’t want to take the girls back to the hotel in the morning but they had to.
The days passed by quickly, and no one wanted this fun to end. On the last night the girls were in London they decided it was best that the couples go on separate dates to spend some more quality time with the men that they loved.
Kelly and Robert had decided to go to the park where they met. Kelly walked next to him holding his hand as they headed to the same bench they sat when they first met, two weeks ago. She was crying silently, these were the best moments in her life and in less than twelve hours she’d be going back home, to a place she hated to people she felt no connection with anymore.
As they neared their bench, Kelly rested her head on Robert’s shoulders. He ran his fingers up and down her back as they slowed their pace. They sat down on their bench and didn’t talk to one another. Right now they just wanted to enjoy each others company and not have it be ruined by small talk. As the sun set and the lights in the park turned on they finally started to talk to one another.
“I really don’t want you to go,” Robert said clasping his hand with Kelly’s.
“I don’t want to go either, but I can’t help it,” Kelly sighed “I’ve got school, family, I just can’t be
away from home right now. If I don’t go home my family will worry about me.”
“I understand,” Robert sighed kissing her head. “I just wish there was a way,”
“Yeah me too,” Kelly sobbed “but there isn’t this will be the last moment I’ll be with you.”
Kelly cried, as Robert ran his fingers through her hair. He brushed the tears away from her cheeks as he kissed her lips. Breaking the kiss he smiled at her. He took her hand and brought her up from the bench.
“I best get you back to your hotel; you’ve got an early flight.” Robert said as they walked out of the
park.
Kelly cried her self to sleep that night, she couldn’t bare leaving Robert. She woke up to the phone ringing, she didn’t remember calling to be woken up but she still answered it.
“Hello?” She asked groggily.
“Kelly, why aren’t you up? The plane leaves in a hour!” Katie said frantically.
“Katie where are you?” Kelly asked sitting up.
“I’m a Roberts place I thought we agreed we were going to say good bye to Daniel and Robert here?” Katie
said.
“I forgot,” Kelly said throwing the covers off her. “I’ll be there in ten minutes. Did you check out
already?”
“Yes,” Katie said quickly “Now hurry up!”
Kelly frantically hurried about her room. She dressed quickly and grabbed what was left in her room and threw it in her suitcase. Zipping it up, she was out of the door ten minutes after she got off the phone with Katie. After checking out of the hotel, she took a cab to Robert’s apartment. After paying the fare she quickly took her luggage from the trunk and ran up the stairs. She knocked frantically.
“Kelly,” Robert grinned opening the door. “I’m going to miss you.”
“I’m going to miss you too,” She said hugging him. She cried a little as he kissed the top of her
head. “Promise you’ll call.”
“Promise,” He said grinning. “Let me go get Katie for you,”
“Hurry, it takes forever to get through the airport!” Kelly said frantically looking at her watch.
Five minutes later Kelly came down the stairs, empty handed and still in her sleep clothing. Kelly gapped at her as Katie walked slowly up to her.
“Katie, where is your ticket and your luggage? Why aren’t you dressed? We’re going to miss the plane!” Kelly said frantically outside Robert’s apartment.
“I’m not going,” Katie grinned as Robert appeared behind her.
“What do you mean you’re not coming home?” Kelly asked.
“I’m staying here,” Katie said quietly “There is nothing for me to return to at home. I’m staying here.
Robert offered me his apartment and I said I’d take it. I’m staying here with Daniel.”
“What about Robert?” Kelly asked not noticing him standing over Katie’s shoulder.
“I’m coming with you,” Robert said as Kelly jumped at his voice.
“What?” Kelly asked staring at him blankly.
“The reason I gave Katie my apartment to live in for the time being is because I’m coming with you,” Robert smiled. “Katie wanted to stay with Daniel and I knew you had to go back home, so Katie said she would stay. She gave me her ticket.”
“Katie you did this for me?” Kelly asked tearfully.
“Well, mostly for myself,” Katie quipped. “I wanted to stay with Daniel. But I knew that if I didn’t go home you’d want someone to go home with you.”
“Katie,” Kelly said placing down her bags and hugged her friend. “Thank you.”
“That’s what best friends are for,” Katie smiled as Daniel took her hand.
“Well, it looks like you’re stuck with me,” Robert said walking toward Kelly.
“You say that like it’s a bad thing,” Kelly smiled.
“Well, you’ve only spend a few weeks with me,” Robert smiled “you don’t know half the stuff that I do.”
“Oh really,” Kelly smirked.
“Yes,” Robert said “I snore, I drool, I never comb my hair, and I’m always tired-”
“I think I can live with those,” Kelly said as Robert stood in front of her.
“Can you?”
“If not I can try,” Kelly said as Robert wrapped his arms around her. He bent down and kissed her. This
was the happiest moment in her life.
Daniel and Katie smiled at the couple as they kissed in front of them. Their plan had worked and they were happy. They knew that Robert and Kelly were meant to be together. And they didn’t care one bit that they almost gave Kelly a heart attack.
“Well this is goodbye,” Kelly said tearfully to Daniel and Katie. “I’m going to miss you,” Kelly said
hugging Katie one more time.
“Don’t worry,” Katie said breaking the hug “I’ll be back home by next year,”
“Good bye Daniel,” Kelly said hugging him tightly “Take care of Katie will you she’s a handful.”
“I will,” Daniel said smiling at her.
“Daniel,” Robert said “It’s been a fun year mate. I won’t forget it.”
“Goodbye Robert,” Katie said throwing her arms around his neck.
“Bye Katie,” Robert said kindly “Thanks so much for making Kelly realized she loved me.”
“My pleasure,” Katie said as Robert and Kelly walked down the stairs as the airport taxi appeared.
As Kelly and Robert entered the taxi Katie and Robert waved goodbye. It was the last time; the two couples saw each other for a long time.
