Note: Okay NOW This is the first chapter. I worked on it all night. I wanted to fall asleep SO bad but I kept going because I knew Kelly would have my story up soon. So here you go Kelly!
Dedicated too:
kelkey because we agreed to write Robert stories for each other. Yeah I'm FAR behind but I didn't get an idea till Saturday night...leave me alone. I hope you like this Kelly.
Side Note: I messed up on the background information. In the first chapter I said that Katie doesn't have a boyfriend and in the last one I did...well my reasoning is that...Katie DOESN'T have one. Kelly just wanted Robert to herself and didn't want anyone interfering with her date so she lied to Robert about her having a boyfriend and Katie figured it out and played along.
“Oh my God!” Kelly said frantically “What am I going to wear?”
She had just gotten out of the shower and was frantically looking for something to wear. She had already thrown all her clothing out of her suitcase. She was so frustrated everything she put together she didn’t like.
“Katie!” Kelly yelled out “Where is my black silk dress?”
“Ah that’s my black silk dress and I’m wearing it now,” Katie said poking her head into Kelly’s room.
“Well what dress did I pack?” Kelly said slowly.
“You didn’t, you didn’t think you would be going out,” Katie said sadly. “But I do have my pink dress you
want that?”
“Oh yes!” Kelly said happily.
Katie walked back into her room and pulled out her pink strapless dress from the closet. And walked back into Kelly’s room she handed it to her. Kelly smiled as she ran into her bathroom to change. She came out five minutes later and Katie smiled.
“There, beautiful,” Katie said smiling.
“Yeah but I don’t know what to do with my hair!” Kelly said frantically pointing to the towel that was still on her head.
“Will you just chill? He won’t be here for another hour, that’ll give me plenty of time to do something okay? Just calm down go put a chair in the bathroom and I’ll be right back.
Kelly quickly grabbed one of the chairs that was sitting under the table and dragged it into the bathroom. She took a seat in the chair and tapped her foot impatiently squirming in her seat she looked around the frame of the bathroom door and saw Katie walking into the room her arm full of hair supplies and makeup.
“Okay,” Katie said dumping everything in her arms onto the counter. “I know exactly what I’m going to do.”
“Okay,” Kelly said slowly.
“You trust me?” Katie asked picking up the blow dryer and brush.
“Do I have a choice?” Kelly said but Katie didn’t hear her because she had turned on the hair dryer and
was now straightening out Kelly’s hair.
Once Kelly’s hair was dry, Katie pulled it back loosely into a bun at the back of her head. She tied a pink hair tie around it and placed a flower in he hair. She smiled as she took out a strand of hair curled it around her finger and it fall to the side of Kelly’s face.
“Hair’s done,” Katie announced picking up some blush from the counter and walked in front of Kelly and started to apply her make-up. After about ten minutes she was done and stepped out of the way so Kelly could look at herself in the mirror.
“Katie, I love it,” Kelly said standing up and smiling at herself in the mirror. “Thank you so much!”
“You’re welcome,” Katie said. “But you still owe me my food.”
“You look wonderful!” Robert said as he picked up Kelly from her hotel room. “And this must be Katie,” Robert said holding out his hand and shaking hers.
“Hi,” Katie said accepting it.
“It’s a shame you couldn’t come out with us tonight,” Robert said “My best mate would’ve loved you,”
“Thanks,” Katie blushed “but I didn’t want to have a quiet night. First night in London I wanted to be out on the town go to some clubs you know?”
“Of course,” Robert said smiling “Some other time then,”
“Kelly you ready?” He said turning his attention back to her.
“I’ve been ready,” She said nervously.
“Well then let us go,” He said holding out his arm for her.
She smiled as she took it. They waved to Katie and shut the hotel room door. After taking the elevator to the lobby Robert led her out front to an awaiting taxi. Opening the back door for her she climbed in, he slid in next to her and told the driver where to take them. A short time later, they arrived at a fancy restaurant Robert opened the door and helped Kelly out of the car after paying the
driver.
She looped her arm under his as they walked into the restaurant. The hostess sat them across from each other. Robert smiled at her as she took in her surroundings. Once she looked back at him she blushed and smiled, she looked away and down at the place setting in front of her.
“I’m glad you decided to join me tonight,” Robert said after some silence.
“Really,” She asked blushing even more.
“Yes,” He said sincerely “It’s been a long while since I’ve actually been on a date with someone.”
“Well I’m glad I could be your first date in ages,” Kelly quipped.
Robert smiled at her and before he could say anything, their waiter came and took their orders. Once he left it was awkward silence again, neither of them knew what to say to each other. They looked around waiting for their dinners to come. Once their dinners arrived their conversations picked back up.
“Fine night this is,” Robert joked cutting into his steak.
“Oh yeah, this was loads of fun,” Kelly laughed.
“I’m sorry I’m not a more interesting date,” Robert said quietly “For me its’ really what you see is what you get,”
“I don’t think you’re not an interesting date,” Kelly replied “I think we’re both just extremely nervous.
I mean we did only meet each other what? Six hours ago, and that was an awkward meeting to say the least.”
“Yeah your right,” Robert smiled “I’m sure our second date will be better.”
“Second date, aren’t you getting a little a head of yourself there?” Kelly smirked, and he grinned at her.
“Well, I was just assuming,” He smirked back.
“Never assume, it makes an ass out of you and me,” She said taking a bite from her salad.
“So no second date,” Robert asked.
“Oh of course there will be,” Kelly grinned. “I was just messing with you. Even if we didn’t talk I’d still want to go on a second date.”
“Really?” Robert asked getting excited.
“Yes, really,” Kelly smiled.
“Tomorrow night then?” Robert grinned hopefully.
