“You move pretty good kid,” Austin said leaning against the turn buckle. He had snuck out of the locker room to watch Alex work out before they had to take down the ring to move to the next show.
“More than you know,” Alex smirked as he stopped in the middle of the ring to look at Austin. Alex was the leader of Generation Next but he always felt that it was really Austin pulling the strings, and he liked that. He really enjoyed being with Austin, and that scared him. He had always been close with his wrestling buddies but there was something else there between the two of them. “Why you out here? Shouldn’t you be heading to the next show?”
“I could say the same for you,” Aries smirked back at him. He liked watching Alex work out, it was like watching something unimaginable when he was around Alex. There was something there that he couldn’t place his finger on and it excited him. He had always liked Alex, probably more than he should’ve. But he couldn’t help it, the way he moved in the ring, the way he talked, the way he carried himself, it was everything that drew Austin toward the younger
man.
“I wanted to try a few things out before they took it down, I requested they leave it up for a while longer,” Alex said walking from the middle of the ring toward Austin. He grabbed the towel he had placed on the ropes and wiped the sweat from his face and chest. “What’s up?”
“Nothing,” Austin shrugged, he couldn’t exactly tell him the real reason why he was out there.
“Isn’t Roderick driving you to the next show?” Alex asked slowly swallowing hard. He had always thought Roddy and Austin were a couple. It irritated him more than it should’ve.
“I told him to take off with Jack,” He smiled at Alex as he smiled kindly back. “Figured we could head to the next show, get to know each other you know.”
“In what way?” Alex asked quickly before he could stop himself.
“Any way that you want,” Austin smirked.
